The quickest way to launch a contest

4 11 months agone

Comments: Gleam is cracking for what we've used information technology for, which has been competition entries and email address capture.

Pros:

It's very easy to ready and deploy and has a wide range of different entry mechanisms and unlike types of functionality.

Cons:

There is VERY little you can do to disguise that this is a Gleam app and everything yous do tends to look the same. Information technology'south not necessarily a bad thing but if you are looking for deep customisation of the look and feel, this may not be for you. There may be ways to do information technology by modifying style sheets or javascript merely if yous're looking to make changes in a high level user interface, you are limited to images, colours and icons.

Like shooting fish in a barrel Contests and Giveaways

five six months ago

Comments: I take entered many giveaways and contests through Gleam very hands (haven't own anything though). The interface is very elementary and easy to understand, and it shows you how many entries you have earned out of how many are possible on the top. Overall very efficient software for giveaways and contests.

Pros:

This software allows y'all to enter into contests and giveaways past collecting entries. Information technology has a list of tasks with the number of entries yous volition earn for completing beside each 1. Once you click on and complete a task, information technology is checked off and your entries are added together on the peak.

Cons:

What I liked least is that nearly of the tasks for the giveaways I have entered through this software involve signing up for newsletters and liking and post-obit certain pages on social media. This leads to a lot of spam and cluttered news feeds. This isn't really a trouble with the software though, except for the fact that information technology does what it is supposed to practice. Another thing is that every competition I take entered looks exactly the aforementioned, information technology seems there isn't much customization available.

Bang-up, just very expensive

four 2 years ago

Pros:

I like the variety of its features and tons of integrations, likewise as language support and flexibility when creating different types of contests.

Cons:

The value for coin is low, and there are other options with the same capabilities, similar UX/UI for much less price per month.

Social Networking Consumer Survey, Contest and Advertising Software

v terminal yr

Comments: Typically, in my experience, one sees an advertisement, proverb "Please printing the link to Enter". Upon entering Gleam gathers the users proper noun, demographics and primary email. The Gleam software uses the "win a cartoon" technique by permitting users to accumulate more than new points/entries towards the Companies Prize Production and seamlessly cuts directly through to the users Social Media Aps such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. I have never won anything through a Gleam facilitated contest, so whether or not they e'er have a prize is unknown past me.

Pros:

Gleam software is used by many online companies who seek to promote their service, industry or items. Typically, in my experience, one sees an advertisement, saying "Please printing the link to Enter". Upon entering Gleam gathers the users name, demographics and primary email. The Gleam software uses the "win a drawing" technique by permitting users to accrue more new points/entries towards the Companies Prize Product and seamlessly cuts directly through to the users Social Media Aps such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Information technology navigates the user towards prize points while exposing itself as having a reputable product.

Cons:

Gleam is often not enjoyable, as information technology can ofttimes atomic number 82 the user back to the starting time, non counting the accumulated points and causing the user to redo each stride of the entry process once again.

The Premium Option

4 2 years ago

Comments: Giveaways and competitions. Information technology is a wonderful application to use, even so nosotros opted for another service due to the high toll. Since we don't practice competitions and giveaways regularly the cost outweighed the benefit in the short term

Pros:

It is a well known platform, trusted by a ton of users on the cyberspace and has essentially become a make name when information technology comes to online giveaways, competitions etc.

Cons:

Withal great the platform is, is comes at a price and is a pretty expensive solutions should you opt for the subscription.

Keen App for Give Aways

five 7 months ago

Comments: I bask the Gleam App and recommend it.

Pros:

What I savor almost about Gleam is how effective it is for give aways. It allows for users to link to, follow, and subscribe to multiple give-away sponsors, track entries, and more than.

Cons:

What I similar least is that when using Gleam through third party apps like IG and Facebook, the app will open new browser windows in order to transport you to sponsor Web sites, but, then, does non offer the clearest manner back to the actual browser for the give-away. This is not a terrible affair, and, perhaps, unavoidable.

Widely Used just Needs Improvement

3 2 years ago

Comments: I like Gleam but there are many giveaway app options now.

Pros:

The organization is initially very piece of cake to employ and empathise. It's easy to also rapidly create a new giveaway.

Cons:

The matter I like the least is their non-requirement of an official rules page. There are many organizations that are creating phony giveaways without any official rules info or pages. Gleam needs to crave some basic official rules info such as company proper name and contact. Non requiring this info makes their app a potential haven for con artists.

Ubiquitous Software for Giveaways That Is Frustrating to Utilise

iii viii months ago

Comments: I use Gleam regularly because I tend to enter a few free giveaways each week. However, I loathe the procedure that Gleam puts me through in society to complete the giveaway.

Pros:

What I like about this software from an enduser's experience is that it collects my data, stores it, and allows me to use it in my side by side user experience. I as well like that it helps me to enter giveaways and sends me to all of the merchant Web sites with ease.

Cons:

What I like least is that with giveaways, the software sends me to merchant sites to like or follow their social media pages with no clear or elementary mode back to the software site to finish entering the giveaway. This process is ho-hum and frustrating for that reason.

Gleam Response

eight months ago

Thank you for the praise! Your criticism is a fair phone call as well. We endeavour to open merchant/social media pages in a new tab/window but on some in-app browsers (Facebook, Instagram, etc) they don't let multiple windows. Our recommendation is to leave that in-app browser (usually an choice down the bottom) an open it in your normal browser.
